How to Register to Vote
You can register to vote online in Ohio! Click here. (This link also works for updating your voter registration, in case you’ve had any address or name changes recently!)
To register online you will need to provide the following:
- Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Address
- Last four digits of your Social Security number
You must have your voter registration completed by October 6, 2025 to be able to vote in the November 2025 election.
Election Day – Tuesday, November 4, 2025
THE BIG DAY! Your local polling place will be open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4.

Absentee Voting Information
You can vote early using this absentee ballot request form.
Mail your absentee ballot application to:

After your absentee ballot request form is received, the Board of Elections will mail you a ballot. You can track the status of your application and ballot here.
Early Voting Information
If you’d like to vote early in person, you can do so by going to the Stark County Board of Elections office at 3525 Regent Ave NE Canton, Ohio 44705.
You’ll need to bring one of the following forms of identification with you to vote:
- An unexpired Ohio driver’s license or state identification card with present or former address;
- A military identification;
- A photo identification issued by the United States government or the State of Ohio, that contains the voter’s name and current address and that has an expiration date that has not passed;
- Passport
The hours for early voting are not consistent, so double check that they’ll be open when you plan to go vote! Here are the hours for early voting at the Board of Elections:
October 7 – October 24 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
October 27 7:30 am – 7:30 pm (Monday)
October 28 7:30 am – 8:30 pm (Tuesday)
October 29 – October 31 7:30 am – 7:30 pm (Wednesday – Friday)
November 1 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Saturday)
November 2 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Sunday)
